A Perspective View on SAYA Yoga in context to Kaalsarpa Dosha

INTRODUCTION

It has been observed that most of the people whether they are astrologer or general people, generally have fear once one comes to know about existence of Kaalsarpa Dosha/ Yoga in one’s birth horoscope/ janma kundali. Here Kaalsarpa Dosha/Yoga is formed in one’s kundali if all the planets viz. Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus & Saturn fall in between Rahu and Ketu. People are generally afraid of status and positioning of Rahu and Ketu. Adding to this, more agony and fear people have with Kaalsarpa Dosha/Yoga found in the janma kundali.

Now introducing or having effect of SAYA Yoga in addition to above Rahu and Ketu and related Kaalsarpa Dosha/ Yoga in the birth horoscope where more fear /agony people may feel and face or rather people will be relieved up to certain extent having SAYA Yoga with Kaalsarpa Dosha /Yoga. The study of this perspectively has been made in detail in this paper first by illustrating what is SAYA Yoga and what is the effect of this in context to Rahu and Ketu that too specially with Kaalsarpa Dosha/Yoga in the birth horoscope.

SAYA Yoga :

To understand SAYA Yoga, we have to consider Rahu and Ketu, positioning of related planets as per Birth Ascendant and Kaalpurush Ascendant of the concerned horoscope of the native under study.

For this, first count in which house from the birth ascendant, Rahu is positioned. Suppose it is nth house from the birth lagna.

Now locate the n^th house /bhava from the Kaalpurush lagna i.e Mesh sign as lagna. See the lord of this n^th house.

Observe the relationship between this n^th house lord with the birth lagna or Rahu or Ketu or with any two or with all the three.

If relationship exists in the form of conjunction /yuti or aspect, then this situation in the kundali is called SAYA Yoga.

In other words we may explain in the following ways.

The house distance between birth lagna to the position of Rahu should be observed. The same house distance or number from Kaalpurush lagna i.e Mesh lagna should be calculated. The lord of this located house should be observed. If this house lord is in birth ascendant or with Rahu or Ketu or aspects birth ascendant/ Rahu/ Ketu, then this situation of the kundali is called SAYA Yoga.

Effects of SAYA Yoga

Native may do the profession of job or business pertaining to this house lord. Rahu will not harm the native in any way while native does the same job or business related to this house lord.

Also in other forms it is further elaborated that if Rahu joins with the birth ascendant’s 10th lord and occupies the Kaalpurush’s 10^th house or Kaalpurush’s 10^th lord and Rahu joins together and are placed in birth ascendant’s 10^th house, this status in kundali is also called SAYA Yoga.

Rahu/Ketu will not have any adverse effect in the matter related to Wealth, Money, Property, Profit etc and High Rise in position, Name and Fame, World wide familiarities etc. Rather in these, the native will have all round development and progress whether related to profession of job or business or social services or politics or related to getting money and wealth thereby becoming richer and famous.

Other types of good impacts or bad impacts Rahu/ Ketu may or may not have depending on placements of Rahu, Ketu and other planets in different houses and signs in one’s horoscope.

It is also clarified here that in whichever house from the birth ascendant, Rahu is located, the native should do the profession of job or business of the planet which is the lord of that house where Rahu is occupied/ situated as per Kaalpurush kundali irrespective of the lagna sign. When this house lord as per Kaalpurush is connected to Ascendant or Ascendant lord, profession of job or business etc related to that house lord will be beneficial to the native or concerned person.

For example, if Rahu is in the 4^th house from birth lagna, then as per Kalpurush kundali , 4^th house lord is Moon. So if Rahu is in the 4^th house to whatever birth lagna sign, the native does the job of Moon. When this Moon is connected with birth lagna or birth lagna lord, the profession i.e job/ business related to Moon will be beneficial to the native.

Other impacts except related to wealth, money, property, job, business or any profession, of Kaalsarpa Dosha/Kaalsarpa Yoga, the native has to face. There should not be any doubt in this.

Here we are not opining whether Kaalsarp Dosha/Yoga exists or not irrespective of thinking by different schools of Astrologers.However one thing is clear where everyone agrees that depending on position of Rahu and Ketu in terms of house or sign, even if other 7 planets falling in between Rahu and Ketu, all planets including Rahu and Ketu will have Sum Total Effects either Positive or Negative depending on positioning of planets in houses and signs as well as conjunctions and aspects.

It has also been observed that SAYA Yoga will have its own impacts as discussed earlier on the native irrespective of one having Kaalsarp Dosha or Yoga.

Case Study-1: Kaalsarpa Dosha & SAYA Yoga

Rahu is in 6^th house from birth ascendent.

6^th house lord from Kaalpurush Mesh lagna is Mercury (lord of sign 6 ). Mercury is with birth ascendant lord Jupiter.

He was King and Prince of England.

He had suffered a lot in other aspects specially at his family front due to position of planets in the form of Kaalsarpa Dosha.

Case Study- 2 : Kaalsarp Dosha & SAYA Yoga

Rahu is in 12^th house from the birth ascendant.

12^th house from Kaalpurush ascendant is sign 12 having Jupiter lord.

Here Jupiter is lord of birth ascendant.

Also, Jupiter aspects birth ascendant.

This chart pertains to very famous political leader who spent most part of his life in jail and later he became President of an important country.
